What a stellar performance by Dolphins CC At the 1st Ramzan Defence Cup final against Aimmz Trading!
Aimmz Trading batted first and lost their opener Muneeb for duck and his partner Zain Khan for just 9 runs. The side however were stabilized with an impressive partnershop between Syed Thamee and Fareed Shah, scoring 46 and 88 runs respectively to pull their team back in the game. After the duo were dismissed however, the team imploded, throwing away their wickets in a series of single digits that restricted Aimmz Trading to 167 for 9 in 20 overs. Ashar Qureshi was outstanding in his spell, picking up 4 wickets while Ayaz's accuracy got him 2 wickets at an economy rate of under 6 and 2 run outs that caused further damage.
In response, Dolphins CC could do no wrong with Ashar Qureshi playing the game of his life! The star all rounder knocked 45 runs at the top to set the perfect foundation for victory. Rehan Tanoli also smashed 51 runs off just 27 balls while Fauz Ul Hasan's 33 added to the total. Aimmz bowlers were unable to pick up wickets early and eventually Dolphins CC chased down the target in 18.5 overs.
Dolphins CC won by 7 wickets and were crowned champions!
