Extras and ENI played against each other at Moin Khan Cricket Stadium. ENI batted first and lost Furqan, Fahad and Sameer early before Hasan with 20 runs and Ehsaan with 48 runs provided some stability to the innings. Muneeb then hit 44 runs off just 21 balls and his innings included 4 boundaries and 2 sixes at a strike rate of 210% which enabled his team to reach a decent score of 136 for the loss of 7 wickets in 20 overs. For Extras, Ameer Ali and Atyab got 2 wickets each while Uzair and Hamza picked up a wicket each.
In reply, ace batsman for extras, Atif Ahmed continued his good form as he hit 62 runs off 38 balls and shots flowed from his bat to all parts of the park. Atif hit 10 boundaries and a six in his innings and his partner Zeeshan Khan got 43 runs off 24 balls at a strike rate of 180%. Hamza Khan then wrapped it up with 20 not out off 15 balls as Extras raced home with more than 6 overs to spare and for the loss of only 2 wickets. For ENI, Anus and Imran got a wicket each.
Extras won by 8 wickets.
