OGS batted first against Cocoon Home in a match of Legends Cup. Opener Fayaz Hussain was unlucky and got run-out for just 9 runs. But the other opener Irtaza Khan along with one-down Usman Hannan made 31 runs. Noman Subhan then tried to uplift the team’s run rate by scoring some quick runs. He scored 30 off 17. OGS managed to put 171 runs on the scoreboard in the allotted 20 overs for the loss of 9 wickets. Arif, Anas and Badar from OGS took 2 wickets each.
Cocoon Home, in reply, easily made their way to the victory. Openers Azhar and Ram Ravi gave a fabulous start to their team leaving no chance for the opposition. Azhar played a resplendent knock of 73 runs while Ravi made some fiery 41 runs. OGS then tried to make a comeback as they controlled the flow of runs and picked up wickets but a match winning innings of 24 off 9 from the lower middle order Arif Yaqoob did it for Cocoon. Cocoon Home achieved the target in 19.2 overs. Kaleem Ullah and Tariq from OGS picked up 2 wickets each.
