Black Caps v Khan Baba Sports
A low scoring thriller took place between Black Caps and Khan Baba Sports at a ground near Iqra University. The match was a 17 over a side game and Black Caps batted first. The team had a dismal show by their batsmen as only Khizar Baloch with 21 runs reached double figures with the rest being dismissed cheaply. The whole team was bundled out for just 70 runs. Babar got 3 wickets for just 8 runs alongside Imran who also took 3 wickets for just 11 runs. Rashid got 2 wickets while Nawaz and Noor got a wicket each.
The chase was expected to be easy and the game seemed to be one sided however Black Caps bowlers had different ideas in their mind. They bowled a nippy line and length and bowled economically. The match was stretched till the last over when eventually Khan Baba Sports crossed the finish line after having lost 3 wickets and batted at a slow run rate of 4.24 per over. Rashid got 22 runs while sohail got 16 runs. For Black Caps, Mujtaba got 2 wickets and Khizer took 1 wicket.
