Group A matches of the Master Oil t10 Inter University tournament continued on Day 2! Here's a recap of all the action!
Match#4
PAF Kiet batted first against Indus University in a match that turned out to be a complete thriller. Openers Nasir and Aman got their team off to a decent start, knocking scores of 17 and 14 respectively. On one end, Indus bowlers kept at it, picking wickets constantly, not allowing any partnerships to form. On the other hand, minor cameos by the PAF batsmen kept the scoreboard ticking with Sami Hussain's 16 and Abdur Rafay contributing 19 runs. Sajid Nawaz was the key wicket taker for his side with 3 wickets while Yawar Imam picked up a couple as PAF Kiet ended at 92 for 5 in 10 overs.
In response, Indus University lost opener Ahad for just 8 runs but recovered well after that. Muneeb Ahmed knocked 27 runs but the real star was his partner Yawar Imam who knocked a brilliant 47 off 26 to all but seal the victory for his side. PAF bowlers however fought back with a run out an a few quick wickets pulling back the opposition. Indus University eventually ended at 92 runs with the match ending in an unexpected tie!

Indus University batted first against Bahria University but the team completely fell apart. After their openers were dismissed for a run each, the team could never really recover with Bahria bowlers putting on a formidable display of bowling. Balaj Qureshi's 15, Yawar Imam's 14 and Yaqzan Rajput's 20 tried to pull their side back in the game but Indus University eventually ended at 92 for 9 in 10 overs. Hafiz Jaseem was unplayable in his spell, picking up 3 wickets while Sualeh Alam and Muhammad Ahsan took 2 wickets each.
In response, Bahria University were off to a rocky start after they lost opener Hamza Altaf for just 7 runs but the team recovered well after that. Hafiz Jaseem knocked a valuable 17 runs but it was Touseef Riaz was in form and on fire. His knock of 49 not out off just 26 balls sealed a comfortable victory for Bahria University in 9.1 overs. Ansar Mushtaq took 2 wickets for his side.

Sir Syed University batted first against PAF Kiet and dominated throughout the match. After losing opener Usama Pasha for duck and Daniyal Asif for just 6 runs, the team recovered in fine fashion. Skipper Ali Hashmi was brilliant with the bat smashing 59 off just 29 balls including 5 boundaries and 2 sixes. Fahad Khalid also chipped in with 16 runs as Sir Syed University ended at a mammoth 103 for 6 in just 10 overs. PAF bowler Hamza Mujeeb was in fine form, picking up 4 wickets in his spell while there were 2 run outs.
In response, PAF Kiet had a comedy of errors that cost them the game with their top order falling to 4 crucial run outs. Syed Sami Hussain was the only player to put up any fight with 22 runs and Siddique Akbar chipped in with 14 but PAF Kiet were restricted to a low 76 for 5 in 10 overs.
