Bank Islami Pakistan and Meezan Bank went against each other on 7th November at Eastern Star Ground.
Batting first, Meezan Bank was all out fro 98 runs only. Meezan’s batters had a sloppy start, as they lost early wickets. Kashif Altaf scored 22 runs off 14 balls and remained the highest scorer. Sohail Ahmed was the leading wicket taker, as he bagged 4 wickets at an economy rate of 4.84. In addition to this, Sajid Ali, Mir Aziz Ullah and Ayoob Uz Zaman Siddique took 2 wickets each.
Bank Islami started their innings with Mirza Adil and Noman Ikram Siddique opening. While Mirza lost his wicket on a duck, Ikram scored 25 and was highest scorer. Ayub Baig led the attack and bagged 3 wickets. However, the bowlers were unable to exert pressure, due to the low score. Sajid Ali added 20 more runs to the score.
Hence, Bank Islami won the match by 3 wickets in the 18th over.
