Benitoz Panthers and Spartans played the 3rd ACM Gold t20 Day league match at Aga Khan Hospital ground. Spartans won the toss and elected to bat first and lost opener Moiz Bhola early for just 4 runs. Abdul Ghani with 16, Faizan with 17 and Wajid followed without scoring. Afnan Karim with 54 and Anas Ahmed with 34 runs provided some positive impetus and Spartans ended at 145 for 6 in 20 overs. For Panthers, Umer Khan was the pick of the bowlers with 4 wickets for 24 runs while Faysal Ghouri and Umer Chawla took a wicket each.
In reply, Panthers had smooth sailing as Madni Waqas Raja scored an unbeaten 60 runs off 43 deliveries while Ahmed Arshad with 43 and Rameez Mehboob with 19 ensured that Panthers crossed the line comfortably in the end for the loss of just 2 wickets and 19 balls to spare. For Spartans, Anas Ahmed and Afwan Khalil picked up a wicket each.
