Benitoz batted first and were off to an awful start losing Rameez Mehboob quite early in the match which put them on the backfoot. The next pair, Tabish and Madni Waqas Raja tried to bring their side back in the game with their partnership and they pretty much did so, Tabish scored 31 off 23 balls whereas Madni scored 30 off 20 balls with 3 maximums. The stage was set for the rest of the batsmen to come and dictate terms but one batsman took extra advantage of the situation, Sumail Aziz was in breath-taking form as he smashed 67 off just 44 balls with 3 maximums and 5 boundaries. He was supported by Raja Saqlain who played a little cameo of 37 off 19 balls and with this quick partnership, Benitoz Panthers managed to score 185 in their 20.
It was a huge chase and Warriors had a poor start to it as they lost Younus for a duck. Adeel and Salman then constructed a little partnership and scored 21 and 23 respectively but both fell in quick succession to bring more worries to the camp. The bowlers on the other hand, bowled their heart out and did not give much hitting opportunities to the batsmen and hence it resulted in quick and regular wickets. Hamza and Uzair picked up 2 wickets each and others were economical as well. The batting never really got going and Warriors were not threatening enough to make the match out of it. In the end, they were beaten comprehensively by 55 runs.
