Benitoz and Stallions played an important match of the 8th residence cup at SKBZ cricket ground. Stallions batted first and Shahzad Anwar Arain played an aggressive 64 run knock off just 34 deliveries and his innings included 6 boundaries and 5 sixes. Owais with 31 and vice captain Adnan Salim with 40 runs off 26 deliveries ensured that Stallions ended at a competitive 171 for the loss of 7 wickets at the end of 20 overs. For Benitoz, Sumail took 5 wickets and Qari and Faizan got a wicket each.
Facing a large target, Benitoz opened with Danish Aziz and Ahmed Arshad. Danish was out for 17 runs but Ahmed Arshad played a captain's knock with 80 runs off 57 deliveries and set up the foundation for a good chase as Salman scored 20 runs and Sumail Aziz got 25 not out off just 13 balls to ensure Benitoz crossed the finish line comfortably in the end for the loss of just 4 wickets. For Stallions, Zeeshan took 2 wickets,Tayyab got a wicket and there was 1 run out.
Benitoz won by 6 wickets.
