Bilal Associates earned a close victory over Faheem Sports at the Young Fighter Ground this past week as part of the 1st Big Bash Ramadan Night Tournament.
Despite both their openers falling for duck, Bilal Associates recovered as Shahid Mirani made 28 from 16, Waleed Ilyas made 53 from 45 and Asif Izhar made 29 from 26. They managed to put up 155 in 20 overs for the loss of six wickets. Shahab took three wickets while Faraz took two and Asad Abbas took one.
Faheem Sports made their own comeback with Raheel Khalid making 36 from 24, Nabeel Rehman making 24 from 21, Hussain making 30 from 24 and Taha making 30 from 17. They fell just short of the target though with 12 runs remaining to be scored. Arif Yaqoob took three wickets while Bilawal Malik and Saqib Khan took two and Waseem Ali took one.
