Sons of Pitches batted first against Extras with star bowler Bilal Hayat Khan ripping through the top order to dismiss for the top 5 batsmen for just 22 runs. While opener Farhad Khan put up 27 on the top it was really the heroics of Ahsan Khan and Ali Aamir whose 53 not out and 40 really turned the game around for their side. Extras bowler Shoaib Ali also picked up 3 wickets for his side as Sons of Pitches ended at a competitive 179 for 8 in 20 overs.
In response, Extras fell apart as the disciplined SOP bowlers went after them, picking up wickets regularly, not giving the chasing side any room to score. Zeeshan Khan and Ahmed were the most notable batsmen for their side with knocks of 22 and 29 runs respectively as Extras were restricted to 124 for 9 in 20 overs. Moiz, Ahmed and Ahsan took 2 wickets each for their side.
