Bilal Fighters won in dominating fashion against the Gigi Gladiators this past week at the Naya Nazimabad Ground.
Bilal Fighters batted first and Abul Zafar Abul Khair made 26 from 17, Khurram Ali Khan made 34 from 27 and Ali Iqbal made an impressive 40 from 32 balls. The rest of the batting order failed to deliver and the team was able to make 160 iin 20 overs for the loss of eight wickets. Adeel Abbasi took three wickets, Mustafa Fattani took one, Abdur Rehman Bawany took one, Ubaid Ghazi took one and Kamran Qadri took one.
From the Gigi Gladiators, Khurram Wahab made 20 from 10, Atif Ahmed made an impressive 44 from 27 and Adeel Abbasi made 27 from 23. Much like their opponents, the rest of the batting order failed to deliver. They made 124 runs in 16.5 overs before being all out. Despite the lack of good batting through most of the upper, middle and lower order, a combination of overall good batting and bowling helped Bilal Fighters get the win.
