Aqeel Combined Vs Karachi Stars
Aqeel Combined batted first and they lost Azmat Ali quite early in the innings just for 3. Aqeel and Burhan then got together and made a huge impact on the game and got their team back in the innings. They batted for a while and scored some crucial runs. Aqeel scored 26 runs whereas Burhan scored 93 runs. After them, Kashif and Waseem pushed the score forward, as they added some quick runs. Kashif scored 32 runs whereas Waseem scored 46 runs. For Karachi Stars, Daniyal, Anas and Mohsin picked up a wicket each and others bowled economically as well. In the end, Aqeel Combined scored 212 in their 20 overs.
Karachi Stars in response, got off to a shaky start as they lost quick wickets right at the start. Taha lost his wicket after scoring 6 runs and Abdullah scored 15 runs. Ahmed Lashkerwala and Fahim got together and tried to rescue the sinking ship. They brought their side back on the track with their partnership. Ahmed played a supportive role and scored 13 runs whereas Fahim was in no mood to let the bowlers dictate terms as he smashed them around and scored 33 runs. Once both set batsmen were dismissed, the bowlers came back strongly and picked up a few more cheap wickets. Kashif picked up 4 wickets in his spell, followed by Khizar who did further damage, taking 2 wickets. The batsmen batted well and scored big runs to cover the chase. Mughees scored 22 runs followed by Saad who scored 21 runs. The most crucial innings was played by Anas who scored 50 runs and brought his team one step closer to victory and in the end, it was Daniyal who sealed the win just in the nick of time
