Strikers CC batted first and lost Saad Shah quite early in the game for just 8 runs. After his dismissal however, Noman Noor and Saad Sultan then got together and propelled the score forward. Noman scored 26 off 32 balls whereas Saad Sutan scored 18 off 15 balls before they were sent back to the pavilion. After them, Farhan and Waqar carried the innings forward and formed a good little partnership before they were dismissed for 20 each. The bowlers did a great job and kept a check on the batsmen throughout the innings. Imran Ali was the pick of the bowlers with 4 wickets for just 26 runs whereas Ali Mir picked up 2. In the end, Strikers CC could only manage to post 141 runs in their 20 overs.
It was not a big score that Wonder Boys were chasing but there was some panic in their dressing room when the openers were dismissed cheaply. Sheraz and Hassan then formed the match winning partnership and eased the nerves of their team mates. Hassan scored 31 off 31 balls whereas Sheraz Rana scored 74 off 37 balls with 2 fours and 9 sixes. It was a match defining innings which helped his side chase the target down comfortably in the end.
Wonder Boys won by 5 wickets in 16.4 overs.
