Cricwolves and Butt brothers locked horns in a 20th Challengers match at Naya Nazimabad. Batting first, Cricwolves struggled from the start as only Anas Ahmed with 34 was playing responsibly while Kashif, Hamza, Saad, Sohail and Ahsan all were dismissed cheaply. Zeeshan Mujahid with 26 runs offered some resistance but to no avail as Cricwolves were all out for just 117 runs in 20 overs. Fazeel was chief destroyer with 4 wickets while Owais Pasta took 3 wickets and Yousuf Jetpur and Khalid Khursheed picked up a wicket each.
In reply, Cricwolves did not give up and bowled aggressively to get 5 quick wickets of Butt Brothers as Ameer Raza, M Ali, Bilal Omer, Zubair and Noman Butt were dismissed cheaply. Owais Pasta then stemmed the decline with a steady 23 runs while Sheraz Iqbal knocked 22 runs and in the end Kamran Butt finished it off with 18 off 14 balls. Butt Brothers won with 17 balls to spare but the match was very interesting as they won with only one wicket left making it a tight contest. Cricwolves fought valiantly and for them, Najeeb took 3 wickets, Hamza and Sumair got 2 wickets and Uzair picked up a wicket.
