Camran CC Obliterate Karachi Gymkhana

What a knock by Camran CC opener Adeel Khan at the 18th Challengers Corporate Cup final. Batting first, Camran CC lost opener Ajdal Aziz for just 4 runs but recovered brilliantly after that. Adeel Khan was outstanding in his knock of 125 runs, hitting 10 boundaries and 10 sixes. Kamran Salam kept the scoreboard ticking on the other end with a blistering 83 off 40 helping set a mammoth target of 242 for 7 in 20 overs. Gymkhana bowlers fought back with 2 run outs and 4 wickets by Fareed but it was too little, too late.

In response, Karachi Gymkhana cracked under pressure with 5 of their top order batsmen being dismissed in single digits. Taha Zindani and Mazhar Hussain then tried to fight back with 38 and 51 runs respectively but lost their wickets before they could make any real impact. With a massive total to chase, Gymkhana were dismissed for a low 134 in 19.1 overs. Mir Ali took 3 wickets while Mir Ahnaf and Najam Butt took 2 wickets each to obliterate the opposition.

Camran CC won by 108 runs and were crowned champions.
