In what was a very impressive performance, City Gymkhana beat Gulshan Becks by 11 runs at the RLCA Gulberg.
City Gymkhana put on a performance that was on par with international caliber. Through a series of consistent knocks, Danish (37 from 35), Manan (34 from 25), Wali (20 from 17), Yaseen (32 from 17), Ejaz (44 from 19) and a massive 32 extra runs, they put on a total of 202 in 20 overs for the loss of five wickets. Zohaib Khan took two wickets while Kashif Rajput, Mehdi Ali and Kamran Siddique took one.
The Gulshan Becks came very close to victory with their own impressive performance, putting on 191 in 20 overs for the loss of seven wickets. Muhammad Mujahid made 37 from 28, Ali Manzar made 24 from 15, Kamran Siddique made 32 from 28 and Waqas Khan made 40 from 21. Israr and Shaz Alam took two wickets while Ejaz, Hameed and Jawed took one.
