Classic Barbarians and Gigi Gladiators played the Memon Super League season 2 match at RLCA Cricket Ground. Classic batted first and opener Taha Zindani was out for a duck but Kamil with 38 runs and Ahsan Zafar with 66 runs off 46 deliveries at a strike rate of 143% provided stability to the innings. Saad Asif then got 22 runs before Ali Bantwa devastated the bowling with 36 runs off 14 deliveries and he hit 4 huge sixes in his innings. Barbarians ended at 183 for 4 at the end of 20 overs. For Gladiators, Adnan Ghazi and Israr Ul Haq picked up 2 wickets each.
In reply, Atif Ahmed scored 42 runs while fellow opener Shakir Serang knocked 16 runs but none of the other batsmen could get notable contributions except Adnan Salim who scored 25 runs and Anas Ahmed who managed 29 runs. With the net run rate required climbing, Israr ul Haq played a cameo of 34 runs off 16 deliveries but after a tough fight Gladiators could only get to 176 for the loss of 7 wickets at the end of 20 overs. For Barbarians, Hunain Usman and Shahid Nepal took 2 wickets each while Naveed Rangoonia got a wicket and there were 2 run outs.
