Crushers v Dolphins
Crushers batted first and were off to a rocky start, losing opener Faisal Asghar for just 6 runs. His partner Danish Saleem however contributed valuable runs with the bat with an impressive cameo of 34. The rest of the team struggled with the bat, losing wickets frequently unable to gain stability and keep the scoreboard ticking. Danish Hanif was the real star of the show with an incredible knock of 74 runs at a strike rate of 168, which included 7 boundaries and 2 maximums. Naveed Ahmed and Rehan Segal fought back, picking up 2 wickets each but the damage had already been done. Crushers set a target of 176 runs in 20 overs.
Dolphins had a rough day out with the bat. The team had a few decent starts but were unable to capitalize and keep the scoreboard ticking. Crushers bowlers did well to limit the opposition with Azam Khawar and Danish Riaz picking up 2 wickets. Amanullah and Khurram Arshad were the only two batsmen who showed resistance, scoring 32 and 35 runs respectively. Dolphins were restricted to 153 runs in 20 overs.
