Wonder Boys CC v Nizari CC
Wonder Boys batted with Daniyal Ahmed's sublime innings. The opener singlehandedly carried his side with an impressive 96 off 43 including 7 boundaries and 6 maximums. Nothing could deter his innings despite the rest of the team throwing away their wickets, unable to give him any support. Muhammad Nawaz was the only other batsmen to show some resistance with his 27 run cameo propelling Wonder Boys to 185 for 8 in 20 overs. Anees and Shiraz were in form with the ball picking up 2 wickets each to rattle the opposition. Some foolish running between the wickets also cost the batting side who lost 3 wickets in this fashion.
Nizari CC opener Anees also stepped up to the plate with his knock of 41 runs. The rest of his side however struggled against a formidable bowling attack. They lost wickets before they could capitalize on some decent starts and were eventually all out for just 130 runs. Wonder Boys bowlers showed no mercy with Sajid Ashfaq and Imran Ali taking 3 wickets each to bamboozle the opposition. Bilal also chipped in with 2 wickets.
Wonder Boys CC won by 55 runs.
