Creative Chaos v Ghulam Farooq CC
Creative Chaos batted first and had a dream start. Despite losing opener Muhammad Furqan early on for just 13 runs, his partner Daniyal Khan singlehandedly held the team together. His explosive knock of 74 runs came off just 38 balls including 5 boundaries and 4 maximums. Safdar, Kamran and Anas also put up a strong front against the bowling attack contributing 22, 39 and 32 runs respectively. Ghulam bowlers were ineffective against the opposition unable to make the breakthroughs when most required. Atif made some inroads with his spell of 3 wickets but was unable to stop the flow of runs. Creative Chaos set a target of 196 runs in 20 overs.
In response Ghulam Farooq CC were off to a fantastic start in the chase. Both openers Asif and Atif scored 37 and 27 runs respectively to set the foundation for an easy chase. After the duo were dismissed, Adnan and Idrees also knocked around cameos in their twenties, however the team fell apart from there however it wasn't enough to get their team over the line. GFCC needed to capitalize on the foundation set but it was too little too late. The remaining batsmen simply ran out of balls and were unable to effectively chase down the target. GFCC scored 156 runs in 20 overs.
