Rebels CC batted first and were off to a reasonable start. Even after losing Zohaib for just 8, they recovered well on the back of Farhaan and Imran Ata as they scored 26 and 25 respectively and put their side in a good position. Their work was carried forward by Waseem and Yaseen, they both batted for a while and slowly build the innings with their bright innings. Waseem scored 30 whereas Yaseen managed to score 23 off 13 balls. The stage was set for the lower order to come and express themselves but instead they faltered. Waqar Idrees led Dawson Stars reblfight back and picked up 5 wickets for just 22 runs. His heroics efforts meant that Dawson Stars restricted Rebels CC to just 131.
In reply, Dawson Stars were off to a rocky start as they lost their top 2 wickets without much on the board. Aashir Ahmed though played a good little innings at the top and scored 20 off 15 balls but he was also picked up by Farhaan Ismail who picked up all 3 top order wickets and was the only wicket taker in the entire innings. Then came, Haider and Fahadis and they both played inspirational innings and helped their side recover from the early losses and put them back on track. Haider scored 45 off 39 balls whereas Fahadis managed to score 61 off 42 balls. And they calmly guided their side to victory only in 16.2 overs.
