Karachi Warriors v Day Fresh
Karachi Warriors batted first and what a disaster it was. The team threw away their wickets without showing any intent to score. 2 ducks to Farooq and Naveed and things did not get any easier. Nadeem Mushtaq and Shoaib Shoukat ripped through the opposition picking up 3 wickets each. Raza Tahir struck with 2 wickets and the Warriors decimated. Tariq Naseer was the only batsman to show some resistance with his knock of 35 runs. Karachi Warriors were all out for 109 runs.
In response Day Fresh put up a strong performance with Saif, Kashif, Mudassir and Danial each chipping in to get their team over the line. They chased down the target in 9.4 overs. None of the bowlers were able to strike when required.
Day Fresh won by 7 wickets.
