It seemed that there was a clear mismatch between the two; Universal Warriors and Extras as the former beat the latter by 80 runs at the Moin Khan Academy last week.
Dilawar Merchant gave a smashing performance as he delivered a cricket masterclass by scoring 102 from just 45 before, unfortunately, being retired hurt. Irfan Roshan made 26 from 24. Sharjeel Wajih made 40 from 23 before also being retired hurt and Abdul Hadi made 34 from 13. Asad Shafqat and Ahmed took two wickets each while Shehryar took one.
The total of 239 was simply too much to handle for the Extras who were only able to make 159 in 20 overs. Atif Ahmed made 28 from 21, Hamza Khan made 39 from 32 and Bilal Hayat Khan made 25 from 21. Anwar took two wickets while Sufiyan, Umair, Haider and Farhan took one.
