Dolphins CC took the win by six wickets against Mateen Enterprises here at the NG Ground on Sunday.
Mateen Enterprises batted first and from the start only seemed to be doing well. Their opener Akhtar Muhammad scored an impressive 46 from 36. However that was the seeming end for their momentum as the rest of the batting order did not perform as well and the team managed to put up just 148 in 20 overs for the loss of eight wickets. Dolphin bowlers Mohsin Saleem, Badar Qureshi and Zain Khan took two wickets while Fazal Hussain took one.
Dolphins CC were quick to build momentum and finish strong as they managed to beat the target in 18 overs for the loss of just four wickets. They batted impressively all around but Azhar Khan made a very impressive 55 from 36 and remained not out. Shah Hussain took two wickets while Touqeer Malik and Umair Ali took one.
An impressive batting performance from the top and middle order of the Dolphins earned them a dominant win against Mateen Enterprises.
