In the second semi-final of the Defence Cup, the Dolphins emerged victorious over DSA Cricket Club, beating them by seven wickets, at the IBA Ground.
DSA Cricket Club batted first and were unable to score a high total for their opponents to chase. Mudassir Gillani made 16 from 12, while Mirza Shoaib made 20 from 21. They made 108 in 20 overs. Anas Sattar Karwa and Fauz Ul Hasan took three wickets each. Rehan Tanoli took two wickets while Fazal Hussain took one.
The Dolphins made light work of the total, chasing it in just 12.5 overs for the loss of three wickets. Ashar Qureshi made 28 from 26. Rehan Tanoli made 38 from 29 and Ejaz Shah made 33 from 20. Sajjad Mushtaq took two wickets while Uzair Akber took one.
