Dubai Hawks beat Siemens CC by four wickets this past week at the IBA Ground in a hotly contested match.
Siemens CC put 168 on the scoreboard in 20 overs for the loss of six wickets. The highest scorers of the innings included Sami Ansari (29 from 22), Habib Ullah (29 from 25) and Shah Muhammad (56 from 34, not out). Daniyal Liaquat took two wickets while Khalid Khursheed Kaka, Rafay Malik, Imran Ali and Afaq Ahmed Khan took one.
The Dubai Hawks were able to match the target in 19.3 overs for the loss of six wickets thanks to some match winning knocks from Rafay Malik (72 from 52) and Yasir Muneer (25 from 21). They were also awarded 19 extra runs thanks to some poor bowling from their opponents. M Jahanzaib took three wickets while M Salman, Saeedullah and Asad Ullah took one wicket.
