Dubai Islamic Bank went against Al-Baraka on 25th September at TMC Ground.
Mukkaram Jafri and Saad Ullah opened the innings for Al-Baraka, however, both got out on low scores of 8 and 1 respectively. Though Syed Ali, the one-down batter, attempted to stabilise the innings; however, he was run out on 21 runs only. Abdul Moeed led the bowling attack, as he bagged 3 wicket at an economy rate of 5.00. In addition to this, Misbah dismissed 2 batters. Hence, the momentum of the batters was dented and they posted a low score target of 95 runs only.
Nasir and Waseem Ali opened the second innings for Dubai Bank. Though they lost their wickets on fewer runs, however, it did not build pressure on the overall lineup. Syed Daniyal led the bowling attack and bagged 3 wickets. However, his efforts were not enough to defend the low score. M Anas Javed smashed 33 runs and drove the team closer to the score.
As a result, the Dubai Bank chased the score in the 17th over only and won the match by 4 wickets.
