Eagles and Hawks faced each other at SKBZ cricket ground as part of the 8th residence cup. Hawks batted first and kept losing wickets at regular intervals. Abdur Rehman with 36 runs resisted while 35 from Saqlain and 13 from Faraz Qazi enabled Hawks to reach a decent 138 all out in 20 overs. For Eagles, the bowlers were on track and bowled well and Faizan,Cavish, Umer and Rehan got 2 wickets each while Zeeshan took a wicket.
In reply, Rehan Nazim finally struck form with a determined 56 runs at the start of the innings and despite Kashan, Danish and Zubair losing their wickets, it was Asad with 17 and Madni with 13 not out and 14 by captain Umer Chawla which enabled Eagles to cross the finish line for the loss of 5 wickets in the end. For Hawks, Idrees took 2 wickets while Saqlain and A Rehman got a wicket each.
Eagles CC won by 5 wickets.
