Engro came in to bat first & were off to a flying start. Their openers Navaid Iqbal & Matti came out all guns blazing dominating the powerplay. The duo took the attack towards the bowlers scoring boundaries at ease. Navaid Iqbal departed after playing a fiery innings of 28 runs off 18 deliveries. Farid Zafar came in & he played with the same intent. Matti continued to dominate the bowlers blasting the ball towards all parts of the ground. He retired hurt after playing a sublime knock of 90 runs off 51 deliveries. Usman Hassan came in & he played a solid knock of 23 runs off 15 deliveries. Farid Zafar played a fiery innings of 44 runs off 30 deliveries ending the innings on a flourish. Asim Khatri, Daniyal Kashif & Shafiq Ahmed Khan picked up a wicket each. Engro posted a mammoth total of 204 runs for the loss of 4 wickets.
Folio3 Cricket Club came in to chase this target & were off to a shaky start. Despite loosing a couple of wickets inside the powerplay they were scoring at a healthy rate. Muhammad Wasi Tariq & Muhammad Ahsan hoorani put up a solid partnership keeping their team in the run chase. Muhammad Wasi Tariq played a fiery innings of 41 runs off 30 deliveries where as Muhammad Ahsan hoorani played a solid knock of 28 runs off 27 deliveries. Once he was dismissed the bowlers made their comeback. The bowlers then dominated through out the innings picking up wickets at quick successions not allowing the batsmen to settle in. The rest of the batting lineup completely collapsed as the batsmen struggled to spend some time at the crease. Naeem Butt lead the bowling attack picking up 3 wickets. He found good support Azhar Nawaz who picked up a couple of wickets. Shahid Mirza, Vohra & Abdul Wahab picked up a wicket each.
