ENM utterly destroyed Wintex Strikers in a match that clearly established their dominance as the A side, here at the RLCA Gulberg on April 8th.
Wintex Strikers batted first and it seemed that none of their batsmen could deliver as the highest runs scored by a batsman was 17. The batting order from top to bottom somehow failed to cross even a hundred runs and were forced to settle for 85 runs as the entire team was taken out in just 16.2 overs. ENM bowlers Danish Alvi, Yasir Jamil, Imran Tahir and Tahir Ahmed took two wickets each while M.Zohaib Sohail and Hassan Nasir took one.
The surprisingly modest total of 85 was no challenge for ENM who chased the target with ease in just 10.4 overs thanks to a beautiful partnership between Bilal Ahmed Chinioti who made 33 from 37 and Haris Maqbool who made an impressive 50 from just 27 deliveries. Unfortunately for Wintex they were unable to claim a single wicket and were mute in response to ENM's superb batting and bowling.
