Extras v Intellegal XI
Extras batted first and were off to a rocky start, losing opener Rafeh for just 9 runs. Mustaqim and Irfan then stepped in to stabilize the innings with valuable contributions of 41 and 31 runs respectively. The team lost wickets throughout the innings with Intellegal bowlers being quick to take wickets at key times and restrict the flow of runs. Jalal Owais and Nadeem Hameed lead the bowling attack, picking up 2 wickets to rattle the opposition. Contributions by Bilal and Ali however lead Extras to post a respectable total of 165 runs in 20 overs.
Intellegal XI were off to a horrific start in the chase, losing both openers early on for just 4 runs. The team struggled with the bat, unable to keep their wickets intact with the exception of Aqib who stood firm with an impressive 79 run knock. He was alone in his fight however and eventually fell to a brilliant piece of bowling by Ali who picked up 3 wickets for his side. Intellegal XI eventually fell short, able to score only 138 runs in 20 overs.
Extras XI won by 27 runs.
