Stoneage Stallions Cricket Club (SSCC) played against Maymaar Arcade at Eastern Star cricket ground. SSCC batted first and started off well as Kashif got 22 runs off 17 balls and Ajdal Aziz got 43 runs off 33 balls. However, the star of the batting line up was Faazullah who scored 71 runs off 43 balls including four sixes and four boundaries at a strike rate of 165%. In addition, Mobeen Ahmed's valuable knock of 27 runs propelled SSCC to set a competitive target of 183 for 4 in 20 overs. For Maymaar Arcade, Anus, Najeeb and Shoaib got 1 wicket each.
In reply, Maymaar Arcade lost opener Furqan for just 10 runs. However, the team recovered well with the pair of Zohaib and Kamran. Zohaib and Kamran's knock of 50 and 48 runs respectively seemed to put Maymaar on course to chase down the target. However, SSCC bowlers restricted the run flow and the subsequent batsmen could not score freely. Maymaar Arcade were restricted to 156 for 6 in 20 overs. For SSCC, Faazullah got 2 wickets while Ahsan, Mobeen, Mudassir and Mohsin got a wicket each.
SSCC won by 27 runs.
