Bavanx and Fakhri Falcons went head to head at the Bohra T20 Champions League this past Sunday. Batting first, Bavanx lost opener Mustafa for just 2 runs before Hussain and Abbas stepped in to stabilize the innings, knocking cameos of 16 each. The team seemed to stumble throughout the innings, losing wickets regularly. Hunaid Moiz and Mufaddal Siraj contributed 32 and 33 runs respectively to boost Bavanx to 149 for 6 in 20 overs. For Falcons, Aamir Hussain and Hussain Haideri were the key wicket takers with 2 scalps each.
In response Fakhri Falcons were off to a decent start with openers Saif and Hussain scoring 25 and 20 respectively. Bavanx's bowlers however came out with intent, bowling well to pick up wickets, leaving the chasing side struggling. The real hero for Fakhri Falcons however was Burhanuddin Pal whose 36 not out took his side home. Murtaza Ghodra fought back for Bavanx with his 3 wickets while Hussain Shabbir also picked up a couple. Fakhir Falcons chased down the target in 17.5 overs.
