Fakhri Falcons went up against Saifee Stars at the Bohra t20 Champions League and batted first. The team lost opener Aamir Hussain earlier on for just 4 runs and continued to lose wickets throughout the innings. Saif Uddin and Ali Asghar Khamosi then tried to rebuild the innings with cameos of 18 and 28 respectively. Saifee Stars bowlers did well to restrict the opposition, picking up wickets when needed. Burhanuddin Tayyab and Taha Turab Ali were the star bowlers for their side with 3 wickets each. A late surge of 30 by Hussain Ratlam eventually propelled Fakhri Falcons to 158 for 8 in 20 overs.
Disaster struck for the chasing side from the start and continued to go down hill after that. Once opener Burhanuddin Tayyab was out for duck, Naeem Hussain and Hussain Inayat were the two most notable contributors for their side with scores of 20 and 23 respectively. However, once the pair were dismissed, none of the other batsmen could keep their wickets intact and the scoreboard ticking as Saifee Stars collapsed in the chase. Saifuddin was outstanding in his spell, picking up 4 wickets to bamboozle the opposition. Burhanuddin Pal also chipped in with a couple as Saifee Stars were restricted to 114 in 20 overs.
