Karachi Hawks vs Team Falcon
Karachi Hawks faced Team Falcon at the SKBZ ground. Karachi Hawks batted first and were off to a solid start with opener Ali Mansoor scoring an impressive 60 runs off 47 balls. Faraz Zaki came in at number three and contributed to the scoreboard with his knock of 24 runs. A late inning blitz by Idrees Durrani of 48 runs off 25 balls which included a massive six and five boundaries helped Hawks reach a respectable target of 184 for 5 at the end of their innings. For Team Falcon, Waqar Zubair got 2 wickets while Fayyaz and Qasim got a wicket each.
In response to the first innings, the Falcons also started off their innings with a bang, as Jahangir scored 81 runs right from the front. Mehmood Ul Hasan was unfortunate to go down for a duck. But soon, the damage was repaired by Arsalan Butt who played a marvelous inning and scored 44 runs. In the end Sumair contributed to the chase and scored 32 runs which got his team over the line. Team Falcon chased the target in 15.4 overs and won the match.
Team Falcon won by 8 wickets.
