Flame Fighters beat Rising Eleven by 74 runs at the Nazeer Hussain Gulberg Gymkhana Ground this past week.
Flame Fighters were hitting hard right from the start. M Khalid made a spectacular 76 from 45. Abdul Rafay made 57 from 45 and M Yaseen, not out, made 41 from just 19. They made a competitive 191 in 20 overs for the loss of just four wickets. Zain A Rauf took two wickets while Khalid Zubair took one.
Rising Eleven were unable to even come close to the target and were stopped at 117 in just 13.5 overs. Despite promising a challenge in the opening the batting order fell quickly and surely. M Khalid took one wicket, Muhammad Asim took two and Rameez Mehboob, Abdul Haseeb and Rameez Raja took one.
