Gaziani Sports earned a well fought victory against Big Bang, here at the TMC Ground this past week.
Sameer Hussain and Shakir Serang gave Gaziani a super solid start to the innings by scoring 48 from 36 and 28 from 14, respectively. Adnan Akhtar followed suit by making 36 from 24. Unfortunately, the rest of the batting order was unable to match this level of scoring and the team scored a total of 164 in 19.5 overs. Inayat Ullah Khan took five major wickets while Faizan Shaikh took two and Ali Khan and Faisal Jamil took one.
Big Bang fought hard; Sardar M Baksh Khan Mehar made 51 from 32, Ali Khan made 19 from 20 and Inayat Ullah Khan made 24 from 19 but in the end it was not enough. Riaz Gaziani took three wickets while Aftab Khan and Adnan Akhtar took two and Sameer Hussain and Zafar Ali took one.
