Gigi Gladiators earned a dominant win against Sheqe Stars here at the Asghar Ali Shah Stadium, Karachi this past week.
Gigi Gladiators batted first and thanks to some impressive performances from Khurram Wahab, Atif Ahmed and Adnan Salim made a total of a surmountable 188 in 20 overs for the loss of four wickets. They made 46 from 36, 36 from 22 and 62 from 34 respectivley. Abdullah Nawab took two wickets while Umair Iqbal and Jawed Ali took one each.
Sheqe Stars failed to match that total and were only able to make 149 in 20 overs for the loss of eight wickets. Shavez Ahmed made 40 from 36, Khurram Qazi made 48 from 30 and Muhammad Wasiq made 22 from 21. Khurram Wahab took three wickets. Abdur Rehman Bawany, Adeel Abbasi, Ubaid Ghazi and Adnan Salim took one each.
Gigi Gladiators put on an absolute masterclass and managed to outclass their opponents completely.
