Green Stallions Emerge Winners Against Karachi Strikers By 54 Runs

Green Stallions and Karachi Strikers went against each other on 29th August at Bin Qasim Ground.

Abeer and Kashif Iftikhar opened the innings for Green Stallions. While Abeer was playing at a strike rate of 127.78, Kashif was playing at a strike rate of 150. However, both got out on fewer runs. Zohaib stabilized the innings by scoring 49 runs off 37 balls. Haider, from Strikers, was the star bowler, as he bagged 4 wickets. Hence, Stallions scored 161 runs.

Strikers started the chase with their openers getting out on a duck and 21 runs only. The batsmen were quite sloppy, as none of them were able to score impactful runs. Akber Paracha remained the highest scorer with 20 runs only. The bowlers dominated, as Danish Zaidi and Manzoor Ahmed bagged 2 wickets each. In addition to this, Zohaib bagged 3 wickets in 3 overs, at an economy of 4.00.

As a result, Strikers were unable to chase the score. Hence, Stallions won the match by 54 runs in the 18th over.
