Sky Hawks batted first against Gulberg Gymkhana with their openers taking on the bowlers. Madni Bawany was in fine form, contributing a handy 52 while Abdul Mussawir kept the score ticking with his 47. Once the pair were dismissed however, the team fell apart, unable to capitalize on the brilliant start they had been given. Gulberg bowlers continued to make inroads with Faisal Mujtaba leading the attack with his 3 wickets. Atif Ali and Kashif Barooq also took 2 wickets each as Sky Hawks ended at 159 for 9 in 20 overs.
Gulberg Gymkhana got off to a rocky start in the chase after losing their openers cheaply before Ahsan Zafar took charge. The one down batsman played an anchor role for his side with an explosive 73 off just 35 balls including 6 boundaries and 6 sixes. M Zubair also chipped in with 29 and eventually, minor cameos from the remaining batsmen helped Gulberg Gymkhana chase down the target in 17.1 overs. Hawks bowlers tried to fight back Abdul Wahab picking up 3 key wickets and Sajid Ashfaq taking 2 but it simply wasn't enough.
Gulberg Gymkhana won the match by 4 wickets.
