Shiekh XI Vs Gulshan Becks
Friendly Fixture
Shiekh XI batted first and were off to a poor start losing both their openers quite early without much contribution from them, Fauz and Hammad then got together and formed a good partnership. Fauz scored 32 off 23 balls with 3 fours and 1 six at a strike rate of 139 whereas Hammad scored 29 off 31 and played a supportive role. The partnership was going along nicely but once it was ended, Gulshan Becks came back roaring in the match. Kamran Siddique lead the way with the ball and picked up 3 crucial wickets. Naqi, Asad and Abbas also picked up 2 each and bowled economically aswell. It was a disappointing looking scorecard for Shiekh XI as they were bundled out for just 130 in 18.2 overs.
Gulshan Becks also lost a wicket quite early in their chase but they kept on believing as they were not chasing a big score. Sadiq Hussain held one end together and kept the scoreboard ticking. He was partnered by Kamran Siddique for a little while before he was sent back to the pavilion for 11. Then Kashif joined Sadiq in the middle and they both batted for a while before Sadiq Hussain was picked up by Asif for a well-made 45 off 39 balls with 3 fours and 2 sixes. On the other hand, Kashif kept on going and he was joined in by Rehan. Kashif was dismissed for 23 off 25 whereas Noman remained unbeaten on 32 off 20 balls with 4 fours to guide his side to a comfortable win by 4 wickets.
