Haseen Habib v Benitoz Panthers
Haseen Habib batted first and had a tough day out with the bat. The team struggled throughout the innings, losing wickets frequently unable to gain stability at any stage. Panthers bowlers did well to limit the opposition, picking up wickets at key times to rattle the batting line up. Uzair Saleem and Asad Ullah lead the bowling attack taking 2 wickets each. Nadeem Akthar and Nadeem Mushtaq were the most notable contributors for their side scoring 20 and 23 runs respectively to try and help their team post a respectable total. Haseen Habib set a target of 122 in 20 overs.
Benitoz Panthers were simply outdone by a brilliant display of bowling by Haseen Habib. The team lost their opener Asad Butt for just 1 run and things did not get any better after that. Fawad Bari, Amaan Nadeem and Nadeem Mushtaq ripped through the batting line up taking a combined 8 wickets to destroy the opposition. Tabish and Raja Saqlain were the only two batsmen who showed some resistance scoring 29 and 18 runs respectively. Benitoz Panthers were bowled out for 83 runs in 14 overs.
