Shapater came in to bat first & were off to a shaky start. Despite loosing a couple of wickets inside the powerplay they were scoring at a healthy rate. Faheem was timing the ball beautifully making full use of the powerplay. Despite the bowlers picking up wickets from the other end he was scoring boundaries at ease. Shariq Jawaid came in & he played a solid knock of 24 runs off 13 deliveries. Faheem followed him soon as he played a sublime knock of 57 runs off 36 deliveries. Hammad came in & he played with the same intent. He too scored at a quick rate. Despite him scoring at a fiery rate the bowlers kept on picking up wickets at regular intervals from the other end. Hammad played a fiery innings of 42 runs off 25 deliveries ending the innings on a high. Sohail Ahmed Khan & Sir Sajjad picked up a couple of wickets each. Shapater posted a total of 172 runs for the loss of 7 wickets.

Hasham Siddiqui & Shahzad Khan put up a partnership of 50+ runs with Hasham Siddiqui doing the bulk of the scoring. He came out all guns blazing blasting away the bowlers towards all parts of the ground. Shahzad Khan gave good support to him as he played a solid knock of 25 runs off 13 deliveries. Nadir Ansari came in & he scored 13 runs off 11 deliveries. Once he was dismissed the bowlers then managed to pickup wickets at regular intervals from the other end. Despite the bowlers picking up wickets regularly Hasham Siddiqui continued to dominate the bowlers. He showed an absolute batting masterclass playing a masterful knock of 112 runs off just 50 deliveries taking his team over the line.
