Hiba Builders completely dominated the Gigi Gladiators this past Wednesday at the Asghar Ali Shah Ground.
The Gigi Gladiators were off to a great start with their opening batsman Shahzaib Dyer scoring 43 from 33 and middle order batsman Adeel Khan making 41 from 31. Thanks to consistent and well-placed batting, the Gigi Gladiators ended up making a competitive 169 runs in 20 overs for the loss of five wickets. Faisal Butt from Hiba Builders took two wickets while Naveed Nagda, Ghazanfar Ritchie and Rizwan Merchant took one wicket each.
Hiba Builders made quick work of the target however through some hard-hitting right from the get-go. Opener Faisal Butt made a very impressive 84 runs from just 55 deliveries remaining not out and No.4 batsman Adeel Sabuwala made and equally impressive 65 from 34 and also remained not out. Hiba Builders only lost two wickets in just 17.3 overs they made 170 runs to beat the Gigi Gladitors. Adeel Khan and Khurram Wahab took the wickets for the Gladiators.
Thanks to their star performers, Hiba Builders were able to easily make up the target that was set for them by their opponents.
