Hush Puppies beat Steel Alhamra by 21 runs at the Moin Khan Academy last week.
After a smashing start of 40 from 42 by Afnan Karim, Hush Puppies slowed down before Asad Arshad Manzoor and Ahmed Arshad made 21 and 24 respectively. They made 139 in 20 overs for the loss of seven wickets. Danish Alvi and Shahzaib Maqbool took two wickets while Kashif Iftikhar took one.
Steel Alhamra were stopped for just 118 runs in 20 overs for the loss of eight wickets. Kashif Iftikhar made 27 from 22 and Mubashir Ejaz made 25 from 27. Faisal Ashraf took three wickets while Usman Tahir, Asif Hayat and Waqas Ali Vohra took one wicket each.
