Bavanx and Hyderi Blasters faced each other as part of the Bohra t20 Champions League. Batting first, Bavanx lost opener Mustafa Hassan for duck in the first ball of the innings. The team however seemed to recover well after that with Shabbir Kanch and Hunaid Moiz scoring 27 and 38 runs respectively to get the momentum going. Saifuddin Muqaddam then kicked things up a notch with his sublime innings of 73 off 45 including 7 boundaries and 3 sixes. Hyderi bowlers were helpless against the opposition, unable to pick wickets when required or contain the flow of runs. Mufaddal Siraj also chipped in with a cameo of 29 to boost Bavanx to 182 for 4 in 20 overs. Mustafa Quaid was the key wicket taker for Hyderi with 2 scalps, while Hussain Abbas and Hussain Ali took a wicket each.
In response, Hyderi Blasters let nothing get in the way of their win. Their openers came out guns blazing with Ali Asghar Abbas smashing an unprecedented 65 at a strike rate over 300! His partner Abbas Shams carried his bat all the way through to see his side to victory with his 76 not out. With the openers on fire, even after Ali was dismissed and a few wickets fell, Hyderi Blasters chased down the target in 19 overs. None of Bavanx's bowlers could stop the inevitable after an opening stand like that.
