Taheri CC and Hydery CC played the all important qualifier at Al Nadil Burhani ground where Taheri CC batted first and openers Murtaza Hussain (12 runs) and Taha (4 runs) were out cheaply. Juzer Parekh then took things up a notch with a determined 66 runs off 36 deliveries at a strike rate of 183% but the subsequent batsmen put on a dismal show and none of them could stay on the wicket for long and the whole team was bundled out for just 145 runs. For Hyderi CC, Ibrahim Burhan was the chief destroyer with an unplayable spell of 5 wickets for 14 runs while Huzaifa Ali, Huzaifa Mustansir, Ali asghar and Tahir got a wicket each.
In reply, Hydery CC lost opener Saifuddin after he had scored just 1 run. However, Hussain with 27 runs and Shabbir's sublime knock of 66 runs stabilized the innings. A cameo by Adnan Qaid Johar of 28 runs off 21 balls ensured that their team crossed the finish line comfortably in 18.1 overs for the loss of just 5 wickets. For Taheri CC, Burhanuddin and Juzer took 2 wickets each while Mustansir got a wicket.
Hydery CC won by 5 wickets.
