ICT v F.C Sports
ICT batted first against F.C Sports at Al Mansoora and were off to a flyer! Openers Adeel Khan and Talha Ahmedani decimated the opposition with explosive knocks of 64 and 75 runs respectively. With the foundation set well, A Hussain and Sabih Merchant capitalized on the momentum contributing knocks of 39 and 23 runs to set a mammoth target of 227 runs in 20 overs. F.C Sports bowlers were helpless against the onslaught with Hassan Saif picking up 2 wickets and Ovais and Anus Badar taking a wicket each, too little too late.
The pressure was on F.C Sports with a big total to chase. However the team struggled against an impressive display of bowling, unable to keep the scoreboard ticking. Farhan Kamal knocked a cameo of 26 but it was an in-form Hassan Saif who fought valiantly with a half century that was in vain. ICT bowler Shahzaib Ahmed left little room to score, picking up 3 wickets in his spell while Ibaad Khan picked up a couple and Saad Dawood took a wicket. F.C Sports were limited to 127 for 6 in 20 overs.
ICT won by 100 runs.
