TNN Titans v Spartans
TNN Titans played Spartans at Moin Khan Cricket Academy Ground as part of the 2nd ACM Gold t20 Night League and the defending champions Titans showed their domination and strength as they hit a mammoth 252 runs for the the loss of just 5 wickets. Ali Bantwa was instrumental in the high total as he opened and scored 69 runs off just 35 balls at an impressive strike rate of 197% as he hit nine boundaries and three sixes. Rabish Ahmed did even better as he hit 44 runs off just 17 balls at a strike rate of 258% and his innings included four boundaries and three sixes. Not to be outdone, Bilal Umer put the finishing touches on the innings as he hit 43 runs off 17 balls not out at a strike rate of 253% as he hit two boundaries and four sixes. For Spartans, all the bowlers were expensive and Afwan, Ghazali, Abdul Samad and Shahrukh took 1 wicket each.
The reply from Spartans was very disappointing as TNN Titans bowler Imran Idrees displayed his brilliance and got 6 wickets for just 18 runs. None of the top 5 batsmen reached double figures and only Farhan with 25 and Sabir with 23 put up some resistance. For Titans, Yousuf Jetpur got 2 wickets while Hunain and Khalid got a wicket each as Spartans were all out for just 90 runs.
TNN Titans won by 162 runs.
